On Monday's "The Extra", host Shannon Brinias was joined by two co-owners who've established a new neighborhood market that's hoping to fill a void identified by business leaders in Colorado Springs' downtown core as  a lack of access to food products and fresh produce.  Stacey Poore and Aubrey Day say the products they purvey actually represent a domino effect of other local businesses that benefit when people "shop local" i.e. growers, distillers, winemakers, bakers, etc.  The ability to bring downtown dwellers and visitors such items enhances the livability of the downtown core. Their Bread & Butter Neighborhood Market can be found at 602 S. Nevada Avenue.  More information can be found at breadandbuttermarket.com.  The market is open daily 7am-7 pm, with slightly more limited hours for liquor sales.
