On "The Extra" Monday, we learned about changes being wrought through The Pikes Peak Community Foundation, in partnership with The Denver Foundation and Latino Coalition for Community Leadership.  The group recently announced it has awarded more than $1.2 million in grant funding to twelve Southeast Colorado Springs nonprofits through the Transforming Safety Initiative.  Guests included:

·         Emily Patterson, The Trust for Public Land (nonprofit awardee of TSI grant)

·         Jeresneyka “Jere” Rose, The Trust for Public Land (nonprofit awardee of TSI grant)

·         Alissa Smith, Inside Out Youth Services (nonprofit awardee of TSI grant)
