On Tuesday's "The Extra", host Shannon Brinias was joined by Director of Aviation Greg Phillips to talk about changes at the Colorado Springs Airport, "Colorado's Small Airport".  The addition of Southwest Airlines flights starting March 11th has roughly tripled the capacity for air travelers in and out of Colorado Springs.  Phillips says there's indications that's impacting fares and other airlines' offerings.  The airport's also touting recent accreditation achieved for hygiene and safety programs, brought into sharp relief by the coronavirus pandemic.
