The Telluride region would be nothing without the women who have shaped it and kept it running for as long as there have been people in this valley.

This hour highlights the ladies past and present who have graced the area. Theresa Koenigsknecht, Director of Programs and Exhibits at the Telluride Historical Museum, discusses the women of the region's past. Then, Franny Patricio, one of the first women to work in the mines, and Annie Savath, former Director of the Ski School, talk about their first-hand experiences in the area. Local writer Kierstin Bridger also contributes some of her poetry about the women of the Red Light District.
