Indianapolis Zoo

We had a great time at the zoo today. I was really impressed. It is smaller than Brookfield zoo in the number of animals and the physical size but the the exhibits were larger and more realistic. A good time was had by all.
This guy had the right idea. It was hot.


The Desert section was really cool. There were a number of animals in the same area and they were interacting and actually moving. Not bad for the middle of the day.

It was nice to see a real walrus. Brookfield has been without for a couple years at least. The one in this picture isn't real but we did see a couple.

This is what a bird doesto keep cool on a hot day. We settled for water and pop.

Tomorrow is Cinicinnati.
