Now that we know the Teofimo Lopez, Jr. vs Vasiliy Lomachenko lightweight unification on ESPN was a success, we can breathe a little easier having gotten a bigger fight we'd considered pre-COVID out of the way. And it was also a solid fight, which helped greatly.

While Vasiliy Lomachenko certainly dropped the ball, we have to give credit to Teofimo Lopez, Jr. for his performance. Boxing has a new lightweight king and for now he's calling the shots.
