There's an ebb and flow to the type of match ups we get in boxing. The sport may not be seasonal, as the NFL, NBA, MLB, and so forth are, but boxing comes and goes -- like most things. 2013 was mostly excellet, and so far 2014 has been lame. This past week wasn't a particularly strong one either, with Kell Brook taking an often-tedious decision over Shawn Porter, Anthony Dirrell tumbling about to a win over Sakio Bika, and Omar Figueroa making things somewhat worthwhile with an emphatic stoppage of Daniel Estrada on Showtime. This week on TQBR Radio, Bad Left Hook's James Foley and Patrick Connor of Queensberry Rules will talk about all of that stuff, plus the Showtime Extreme undercard and what Jorge Linares and Deontay Wilder were doing on there, Austin Trout's return, and other boxing news. Thanks for tuning in!
