Why does God want us to intercede, surely He already knows what we want and what we need? Well, it's less about trying to get Him to do things for us and more about helping us realise that we're not God. Yes, He answers prayers, big and small. But much more than that, He wants a relationship with us. And a big part of establishing that relationship is for us to realise who is God, and who isn't.
