Special Edition Episode 63 for World Stroke Day #GreaterThanStroke This year’s theme for World Stroke Day 2023 is stroke prevention. One in four of us will have a stroke in our lifetime. It is estimated that 90% of those strokes could be prevented by addressing a small number of risk factors including high blood pressure (hypertension), irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation), smoking, diet and exercise. The Know Stroke Podcast stands behind this mission as well so together we can be #GreaterThanStroke.
