This week, Maggie’s back!  Yaaaaaay!  There are lots of projects started (and not just by Karen!) and projects slogging along and there is the organization of stash.  Yes, there are actual photos, look below the cut down at the bottom of the post.  Oh and there are tadpoles and possible moths as well–spoiler warning: the knitting is okay.  We know that probably scared you for a moment.  Karen also finally saw a certain Joss Whedon movie that isn’t going to make Avengers money, but is definitely worth seeing.

In Geek Squee, there’s OMG TRAILER FOR THE SECOND HOBBIT MOVIE, and the last shooting days of some of the cast, which resulted in a hilarious video featuring a certain Lord of the Rings-related earworm that may be new to some fans.  BTW, the website Karen mentioned is actually YTMND.com, whoops.

In other geek news, there was the nuptials of a certain geek icon,  a website featuring an easy way to figure out just how how much your personal savings will be in wizarding world money when you get your Hogwarts letter (or in Federation credits or in Skyrim money, or…),  as well as the upcoming series based on a super-popular time-travel/historical novel series.

In Cravings, Covets and Crushes, we’ve found a en Etsy shop with magnets that let you body-swap your favourite characters, as well as a collection of patterns that support relief efforts in Oklahoma City.

Finally, Maggie has a little surprise for Karen.  You may want to turn the volume down slightly for this one.

So here’s…well, a good part of Karen’s stash:

Um…yeah.

Also: project bag!
