SPOILER ALERT!  We discuss spoilers for Sherlock 2×03, “The Reichenbach Fall” between 27:19 and 1:01:04.  No non-spoilery comments this time, for obvious reasons.

This week Maggie has quite a bit of progress on her socks and sweater in between exposing a newbie knitter to all things fibery and working her way to becoming a ninja.  Karen, meanwhile, has been working on…the same things she has been the last few weeks, and while she has progress, it’s not much to talk about in brief.  She has acquired some mini-skeins of a particularly nerdy nature, however.

In Geek Squee, there’s casting news about one of the many upcoming Avengers movies, a trailer for a movie that has Karen losing her mind (and featuring some veeeeery attractive talent) and some amazingly cool threads for a sporting event later this summer.  No, not that one.  The one involving brooms and a golden snitch.  Yes, really.  And then of course there’s a great deal of squealing, sobbing and wailing about the season finale for Sherlock Series 2.  YOU ARE NOT PREPARED.

In Cravings, Covets and Crushes we have yet another source for geek-inspired yarns in every base you could ever want, as well as a new online magazine, featuring patterns for our yarny weakness: sock yarn.

Want to share your thoughts on the movies/tv we’ve discussed, or found something geeky to share? Comment here at the blog, email us at [email protected] or participate in the thread on our Ravelry group!  Want to know when new episodes go live or see the occasional bit of news?  Check out our Twitter feed!  And as always, we have merch in our Zazzle.com and Zazzle.ca stores.
