“Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.” - Psalm 22:3 (NLT)

“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” - Psalm 22:3 (KJV)

The Hebrew word for “inhabitest” is yawshab which means “to sit”

The thought here is that God dwells and reveals Himself where His people praise Him

One Japanese translation of this verse reads, “When God’s people praise Him, He brings a big chair and sits there.”

“Praise creates a dwelling place for God in man’s present situation.” - Jack Hayford

Before each writing session, we can lift up praises to our God and prepare a place for Him to sit next to us and guide our writing. Allow God to inhabit every aspect of your writing today.
