Thriller Bark Saga, Episode 7: Foxy's Triumphant Re-Return! Plus a Voyage Down Memory Lane!

We're currently watching Go Princess PreCure (oh my gosh the girls- and especially Pafu the fairy dog- are so cute!) on our own and streaming episodes of Maho Girls PreCure or "Witchy Pre Cure" on the discord – Fire powers are the best powers (and costumes)! Plus, Mofurun has quickly become a chat favorite.   We checked out Brand New Animal Now that it's hit Netflix in America. It can feel like it's meandering a little in the early episodes, but we really like it. Though it suffers yet another poor attempt at symbolism of racial issues. Even if it's not your cup of tea, we can't stop listening to the theme song   God of High School. Do you like kung fu? And slap stick comedy? Don't answer that we've already attempted to karate chop our recording table in half. Hiyaaaah!   Main Episode starts at 21:38   These episodes deal with reliving Chopper's backstory, Foxy's return (again), Brook trying too hard to fit in, and a girl who doesn't like pirates but eventually learns to like pirates after meeting Luffy (woah, Déjà vu). To be honest, we weren't impressed with much of the content. Nukky for MVP just based on his cuteness alone. But Robin and Franky in Drum Kingdom didn't add much? So instead we focus on retroactively adding crew members to past arcs, and retconning new family members for One Piece characters!   Thoughts From the Crew starts at 1:07:11   There once was a tale of legendary pasta. It was said that whoever ate it would gain ultimate power over carbs! Yes, that's right, this tale centers on a certain curly-browed love cook. He had to kick his way to the top of the Golden Tower of Kicky Folk. He had to face a man on stilts, and a woman in heels, and a man in platform shoes, and a spider with eight legs! He endured it all, he overcame the obstacles- including stealing the heel-wearing woman's heels to deprive her of her attack power- until he arrived at the one hundredth floor. And there he discovered... the pasta had already been eaten! But it was not about the destination atop the sparkling, glittering tower. It was about the friends Sanji made along the way, and the powerful kicks he and his foes exchanged in their attempts to become the best kicky folk in all the realm.
