We can all agree that homelessness is a major problem in the United States. So, how are we going to deal with this problem? First, we have to recognize that there's different levels and reasons behind homelessness. Then we need to tackle each of those areas in different ways. Unfortunately, with the way we live now, arresting a homeless person for doing things that normal people cannot do isn't.
Arresting people for being homeless. We should not have laws that protect human beings from punishment because of their lack of housing. On the other hand we also shouldn't throw homeless people in jail when they need medical care.
