When we first start coaching, we develop this intimacy with clients and slowly start to build a friendship with our clients, now here is where the lines blur because when clients start seeing you as friends, they stop listening to you as a coach and this doesn't serve them at all.

The solution is to create client boundaries.

As a coach you need to have a sense of authority so that your clients can really take in your teachings and advice. You are there to push them to their highest potential and guide them to be the best version of themselves - it is not an easy process so you need to be there as an authority figure and as an expert.

In this episode I also discuss 4 key boundaries that you must set as a coach - these are vital in order to serve both you and your clients.

Key Points:

How to set boundaries with your clients and maintain a level of authority. The difference between a coach vs. a friend. 4 Key boundaries that all coaches need to set.
