With more information than ever available at the tips of our fingers, how is it possible that destructive cults still manage to hook unsuspecting people? Well, we could say the same thing about red flags, but lord knows that's not stopping anyone as well as we'd hope. Last episode we got to why there are so many more cults, and today we’re looking at how they do it. We all know the cycle of manipulation, but how does this work on a massive scale? 

This episode I’ll be taking you on a deep dive into the twisted worlds of Herbalife and QAnon. We’re going into the nitty gritty- how they recruit, who they target, and a thorough investigation of the specific tools of manipulation each of these groups use. Plus, how our old friend Abraham Maslow might combat this rise in toxic groups.
