It doesn’t matter where you are in the world, COVID-19, the illness caused by the Coronavirus, is affecting every single one of us.

In this episode, I talk about the WHY behind big changes happening in our lives right now like schools being closed, play dates cancelled, and no visits to their grandparents houses.

I start with a basic explanation of what the Coronavirus is and why all these big changes are happening to us.  This leads into an example discussing how we can help slow the spread of the virus so our hospitals don't get so overwhelmed.

Please keep in mind that during this global crisis, information is changing on a daily basis.

For example, the city or country you live in, may not have seen the massive overwhelm that was predicted in hospitals, because early social distancing was effective at slowing things down.  Protective equipment however, is still currently in low supply.

Use the examples in this episode to have conversations about how things have changed and what is happening at the moment.

Please Note: We love having family and friends staying with us when we aren’t social distancing!!  I used the example of too many people visiting at the same time, as it's an easy scenario for kids to visualize.
