Hello and welcome! In this episode I discuss the types of ukulele, part name of the ukulele, how to hold a ukulele, string names, how to strum, how to fret, and the chords C, G, Am, and F! The ukulele is an amazing instrument, and besides the recorder and a few other random things, (kazoo, I’m talking to you!) the ukulele was the first instrument I ever started playing! Its a pretty simple instrument to pick up and learn, and in no time you can play your first song! The ukulele has been a fun hobby for me for a couple of years now, and I really enjoyed making this. Songs I recommend trying: Somewhere over the rainbow, Riptide, Can’t help falling in love with you, Hey Soul Sister, I’m yours. These songs mostly use C, G, Am, and F chords and are fairly easy to play! For more song ideas, go to ukulele-tabs.com . There are tons of songs you can learn! There are also plenty of tutorials online that might be more helpful than this. I also suggest looking up chord diagrams to ensure you are playing correctly.
