The moviegoing public may have forgotten about Argylle, but Earth's Mightiest Critics have not!

This week, we'll take a look at a film that may have indirectly inspired Matthew Vaughn's short-sighted spy sendup, 1984's Romancing the Stone!

Robert Zemecki's action comedy stars Kathleen Turner as a mousy romance novelist who sets off for Colombia to ransom her kidnapped sister, and soon finds herself in the middle of a dangerous adventure hunting for treasure with a mercenary rogue (Michael Douglas).
