This George Romero flick pits the haves against the have-nots against the brainless, lumbering dead. And though it may seem like just another Bush-era political allegory, it holds up pretty well today—with evergreen themes, and a colorful cast of characters that make it more of an adventure film than a straight-up horror movie.
