Welcome to KHLCast, the premier English-language commentary podcast for Russia’s top hockey league.  I’m your host, Nelson.

If you’ve been bit by the hockey bug like me, you’ve probably been struggling to get your fix, with the NHL not playing until at least January.  Luckily, there’s another option:  The KHL.  The KHL is the second best hockey league in the world, and the best European league.  You’ll get to see young prospects before they’re drafted into the NHL play alongside former NHLers reinventing themselves and life-long European league players who have had storied careers for their respective countries.

This league’s diversity, high quality of play, and interesting stories will keep you coming back.

This podcast airs once a week on Saturday mornings, and will feature an update on scores and standings and any news across the league, as well as featuring special stories on players, games, and news of interest.
