Ryan Smeets moved to Moscow three summers ago and is the CEO and founder of EARN, a company that works to place nurses. Ryan also serves on the board of Advance Idaho.

"As CEO of EARN, Ryan is responsible for targeting the best partnerships for the company. His desire to impact nurses originates from being a sickly child since most of his early adult interaction was with his parents, nurses and physicians caring for him.

Professionally, Ryan has 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and consulting for various industries including healthcare, professional sports, real estate, automotive, agriculture, technology and nonprofit organizations.
Ryan’s academic background includes a Bachelor's degree from UCLA and Master's degree from Georgetown University, however his proudest achievement was winning the “Showcase Showdown” on CBS’ The Price is Right (during the Bob Barker era).
