This is Kelly Orchard’s Apple A Day. Sixty Seconds on wisdom, success and personal growth.
What are your personal and professional accomplishments? It is so often difficult to be humble when trying to define or describe all our accomplishments. In order to lead others, they need to understand and see the value in what you have accomplished in your life. It doesn’t matter if you are the leader of your family, a leader in your community, church, business or school; your accomplishments matter. And, they don’t have to be huge financial successes, or winning a nobel prize, or winning an award. A simple project, losing weight, finishing a program, or team development can be a great accomplishment.
Begin today to acknowledge and track your accomplishments. Write them all down, and then ask a few others you know to help you identify your many accomplishments.
Then, when you find yourself in a position to lead, you’ll have the foundation for communicating what you have done!
This has been Kelly Orchard’s Apple A Day… Now, go out and be fruitful!
Kelly Orchard's Apple A Day is also available in print.
