I spoke with Raj Subrameyer over the phone on May 2, 2022 and we had a blast. Raj dedication is to help people and he does a great job. Raj Subrameyer is a Tech Career strategist focusing on helping people to land their dream job and become successful leaders. He is passionate about guiding professionals to maximize their opportunities and discover their zone of genius. He has given multiple TEDx talks and is a sought-after speaker at various conferences and has been featured in numerous TV news segments, podcasts and publications, including CBS, FOX, NPR, NBC, Entrepreneur, CIO Magazine, CEOWorld Magazine, Authority Magazine, Career Addict, Thrive Global, Addicted2Success and The Good Men Project. Raj grew up as a shy, introverted kid in a conservative family. His entire life, he was told he was not good enough, it did not matter, he suffered through severe anxiety, fear of rejection, low self-esteem, high self-doubt, and severe body image issues. After 20 years of false identity he decided to take control of his life because of a trigger event.
Since then, he have transformed his life into an international keynote speaker, author, and tech career strategist, building a six-figure business. He have helped numerous other people discover their zone of genius, find their dream job, launch their businesses and become successful leaders. Raj spent the last 5 years, building his business from the ground up. He had to do various pivots to build his business into a six-figure company. This included writing a book during the pandemic, moving from a IT training business to a coaching business, focusing on one important theme every quarter, staying true to his purpose and saying no to to things which do not align with his vision.
Raj have spent the past 8 out of my 15 years in tech helping others understand that people are not born as Toxic Leaders but that our environments shape who we are. He lived that world being toxic and thinking he was the good guy. Later he realized there was no such thing as the ‘good' or ‘bad' guy, but that there was only one guy and we are all both. We all have dormant insecurities. They are triggered when there is a high state of stress and that leads to toxic leadership. Once he started studying and analyzing his own toxic traits, he was able to come out of it. And now, he helps other successful leaders in tech do the same. Raj have written over 100+ articles for various publications, he have been on over 50+ podcasts, and spoken at over 100+ conferences, and also the author of the new book “Skyrocket Your Career” which hit #5 on the best-seller list when it was initially released in 2020.
