First of all, I would like to say Thank you for your service James. James has been in the military for 18 years and now he is a comedian. James is such a inspiration a funny man. When I asked him his fun fact he told me that he ran 7 marathons..(I know I could never do that. I do not like running..lol) When I asked James if he could open up for someone in the comedy world, he immediately said Dave Chappelle.. I also asked James what is his why and purpose. He told me that he want to make people laugh because there is too much negativity in the world. We need to laugh more and that is his why.(I agree..we need more positivity in the world) A LITTLE MORE ABOUT JAMES:
James Hodgman is a writer and comedian in Palm Bay, Florida. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 2002 and has served the United States for the past 18 years as a member of the security forces and public affairs career fields. Thanks to his military career, he has traveled to 20 countries and four continents. A talented writer, James has produced dozens of stories for the Air and Space Force highlighting Airmen, Guardians and the mission. He has also used his comedic talents to host numerous events including the Nebraska Veterans Parade, the Air Force Ball in Germany and private parties. He enjoys making people laugh and has done his best to make that happen in central Florida. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, volunteering as a crisis counselor with Crisis Text Line, teaching suicide prevention and resilience courses for the military and leading group workouts.
James has two associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in public affairs and criminal justice, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He is currently pursuing a master’s in management and hopes to complete the degree before the end of 2021.
