Sharon Tettegah, a Black Studies professor at UCSB and the director of the Center for Black Studies Research, has co-organized a series of webinars with several UCSB scholars titled, “Intersectional Justice in California: COVID-19 Inequalities on the Frontlines.” The series will feature various discussions with essential workers on the frontlines. KCSB’s Aubrey Valerio spoke with Dr. Tettegah about the series and how COVID-19 is impacting marginalized communities.
