Elizabeth Rush, the award-winning author of the UCSB Reads 2020 selection ‘Rising: Dispatches from the New American Shore,’ will discuss her acclaimed book about sea level rise and climate change in an online community forum on Wednesday. KCSB’s Elizabeth Robinson spoke with Rush to find out more about the author’s observations as she traveled the edges of the US to speak with the residents most impacted by rising waters.
