Award-winning journalist, Melinda Burns, has been looking into the science of the 1/9 Debris Flow in Montecito. To mark the one-year anniversary of the tragedy, Burns and retired television executive, Hap Freund, have released a documentary that speaks with survivors, and reveals evidence that this isn't the first major debris flow to hit the area in the past century.
