Inside IV: Student Housing in a COVID World

UC Santa Barbara Chancellor Henry Yang is urging students who are signing leases in Isla Vista to consider a living space with fewer roommates. Dorms will be limited to double occupancy, and students will need to bring proof of a negative COVID-19 test before moving in. KCSB's Dick Flacks spoke with Jonathan Abboud, general manager of the IV Community Services District and a SB City College Trustee, about the administration's plans, and the challenges of living in IV in the age of COVID.
