With UCSB fall quarter underway, you'll notice a lot more people - and bicycles in Isla Vista. There’s definitely a bike culture in IV and at UC Santa Barbara. This episodes put the spotlight Wade Nomura, a Santa Barbara native who changed the bicycle industry when he invented a line of aluminum BMX racing frames. Nomura Racing was founded right here in Santa Barbara. Wade Nomura’s life is about much more than racing. Adam Jahnke - artist and AS UCSB bike shop coordinator - speaks with Wade Nomura - about his life, successes - and work.
