The 2022 Winter Olympic Games are underway in Beijing—athletes have been going head-to-head since the opening ceremony on February 4th and will compete until the 20th. What fans might not see broadcast on TV is the mental toll the Olympic Games take on athletes’ well-being. KCSB’s Alexandra Goldberg spoke with 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist and American gymnast Kyla Ross to better understand the mental toll on athletes.
