Yé Moun La ! Here's a new special edition titled "The representation of Black single moms in Black sitcoms in the 90's".


It's a presentation I did in October 2019 during a workshop hosted by university professfor Lissell Quiroz and phD Student Christelle Gomis during the annual Congress of the Institute of the Americas in Paris. Here I take a look at how Black sitcoms give a subversive representation of Black motherhood by deconstructing the negative stereotypes created since the slavery days.
