Throughout my life I've battled eating disorders on and off and faced the oh so not fun of the unreality of body dysmorphia.  I worked hard for years to move through this mindset and anxiety and have slowly started embracing my body, my body's evolution and what all it has survived and helped me to do.  But the holidays and new year are always a hard time when this is part of your mental structure. 

My therapist connected me with Anna Packard a licensed clinical psychologist and certified eating disorders specialist to come on this episode and begin the discussion of what eating disorders are and ways to get through the onslaught of public food in the holidays and the constant harping of New Years body resolutions. New year, new you is so last decade.  New year and same fabulous you is a much better way to walk into 2023.
