As a makeup artist Kara is asked about eyebrows and eyelashes all the time.  She decided for her first beauty episode that this is what she would focus on and invited brow and lash queen herself Nikki Naylor of Beauty Lounge and Co. to come on air with her.  Nikki plucks Kara's brows on air.  Then Kara fills them in with her favorite pencil, gives some mascara tricks and shows how to apply a strip of lashes.  Then she and Nikki discuss some of the other brow and lash options out there from microblading to brow lamination to lash extensions and lifts and tints.

2 oz Grapefruit juice
1.5 oz of tequila
3/4 oz of orange liqueur
3/4 oz of lime juice

ABOUT KARA'S LIPSTICK DIARY

Kara Winslow is freelance on location makeup artist based in Florida that has worked in the entertainment and wedding/event industries for over 25 years.  She spent over a decade doing work at HSN both on camera and behinds the scenes for a cosmetic company.  After several years of being away from being on camera she decided to launch her podcast.  

As a career focused female she never put much focus into dating.  But as she quickly approaches middle aged status she realized maybe she should have.  Unfortunately for her she has very bad luck in the dating world. 

On this podcast she will bring a light heart look at trying to date as a middle aged career woman in a college town, discuss issues that are import to her and talk about beauty and style trends.  All while sipping a cocktail.
