Every human being born on this planet earth goes through what I call as challenges which is termed as problems. While facing such issues our minds are vulnerable to negativity and nobody is insulated from this. Scriptures show to us that even Avatars when they took human incarnations were not spared from such negative thinking. In Ramayana specifically in Sundara Kandam while Hanuman goes in search of Sita to Lanka after looking for her in the entire palace of Ravana and could not locate her loses hope and was in the verge of committing suicide out of depressed thinking. But in a moment of awareness Hanuman tells himself, “how could I allow mind to be engulfed with such thoughts and quickly comes of the same and continues his search.” Goddess Sita after going through the verbal torture of Ravana and his demons decides to give up her life but again in a moment of awareness she regrets her decision and gets confident that Ram & Lakshman would save her from the demons. Even Lord Ram goes through such depressing moments but what the scriptures teach us is that none of us are insulated from negative thoughts engulfing us but it is also in such moments that we need to be aware of the these thoughts and ask ourselves are these thoughts life affirmative or not. It is for this reason that I say that, “It just takes a moment of awareness to free yourself from the clutches of negative state of mind.” If it could happen to the divine incarnations it can happen to mere mortals like you and me. Awareness is the solution.
