Just a few days ago I thought to myself, how fun would it be to jump on Zoom Call with a good friend and celebrate the launch of the Justice Matters podcast 🚀🎙... Someone who knows what it's like to release a project or two out into the wild. Immediately, my dear friend & brother (from another mother) Ed Cash came to mind. So, I sent him a text and without any hesitation his response was "heck yes"!

Now, I met Ed and a few other precious souls for the first time a couple years ago in Tennessee, during one of my darkest moments. Within hours he became a brother to me and he has become someone I rarely go a couple months without calling to check in with.

I had the joy of spending a week with this guy and all I knew was his first name and the incredible tenderness and depth of soul that he possessed. It was only later that I discovered that Ed was a Grammy nominated producer & musician. Not only does he have 6 Producer of the Year Dove awards to his name, but that he was a songwriting genius. For you Christian folk out there, have you heard the song "How Great is Our God"? Well, Ed wrote that song alongside Chris Tomlin. In fact, there are hundreds of chart-topping songs out there with Ed's name in the credits. He's produced for Chris Tomlin, Crowder, Passion, Steven Curtis Chapman, Andrea Bocelli, Dolly Parton, Bethel... the list goes on. But what is most exciting is that he now gets to share his passion for music with his incredibly gifted family.

Alongside his daughter, son, brother and long time family friend, Ed is now making musical waves as one of the frontmen of the hottest band on the Christian music scene right now — We The Kingdom!

So, here it is... My Zoom with Ed Cash and a special performance of the song "Peace", featuring on We The Kingdom's debut album, Holy Water — which coincidentally launches this week.
