Monica is an faith-based author, speech pathologist, minster and an academic librarian. These areas in which Monica operates in, fuels her passion for people to have access to information. As a speech pathologist, Monica diagnoses and treats speech-language disorders; by providing consulting services for families trying to navigate the special needs education process in the school setting. In ministry Monica facilitates small group bible studies and outreach through preaching and community programs. Monica's continued fight for access to opportunities for others stems from her own personal life experiences . Her ultimate desire is to "meet people where they are and use the gifts given by God to me to provide access."....Monica Leak
Monica, has authored a series of poetry collections addressing issues of social justice. In addition, she conducts creative writing workshops for all ages.
