The boys travel back in time to the year 2008 in an attempt to correct the mistakes that lead to 10,000 BC, a lazy, kinda-serious-kinda-schlocky caveman movie made by the guy who did a much better job with Star Gate. 10,000 BC was directed by Roland Emmerich, written by Roland Emmerich and Harald Klose, and stars Steven Strait, Camilla Belle, and Cliff Curtis. No computer generated Pleistocene monsters were hurt during filming because they were already extinct.
