A New Kind of Church

“Can someone be a Christian and not be a part of a church?” That question is akin to, “Can someone be a dad without ever seeing his family?” Or, “Can someone play basketball by himself?” Many people like Jesus but hate the Church because of religious hypocrites, narrow-mindedness, or cumbersome traditions. While their criticisms are fair, they forget that the Church has done far more good for the world than bad. Have you ever wondered why so many hospitals have religious names? Did you realize it was the mass publication of the Bible that caused the sharp increase in literacy in the world? The Church is God’s gift to the world so that we can invest more into our relationship with God and our relationship with each other.
