Alyssa's research is in equine exercise physiology with a focus in how exercise can impact the bone and joint health of growing horses, racing horses, and competitive show horses. She strives to involve students in experiential learning and have frequent involvement in the equine industry in a professional capacity as a competitor and instructor.
