While physically, Paul is sitting in a prison cell, his mind wanders to the courtroom in which he is soon to appear. He will stand trial for the stand he’s taken for Christ, knowing that as the city of Rome burns to the ground, and the tyrannical emperor Nero does his best to snuff out the gospel light of Christianity, Paul will suffer the consequence of this political season, and his time on earth with come to an end.
