Across the South and Southeast US, Heavy rain and thunderstorms will be spreading eastward this afternoon into Monday. Winter Storm Watches are up for much of the Northeast from Central Pennsylvania to New England. Low pressure moving through the South will head for the Appalachians and then off the Mid Atlantic coast late Monday night into Tuesday.
