Professional marketer, comedian, and author John LaLoggia stops by to discuss his new book, "Sh*tty Jobs: The Guide to Surviving a Recession." He wrote it after being laid off in the middle of the 2020 Pandemic and describes the book as an unfiltered account of living in Chicago while trying to find a job during a terrible economy in 2009 - following the “once in a generation recession" - and then again during the “second recession” – the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic. According to LaLoggia, the book is from the POV of a job seeker, torn between being fulfilled or homeless, and includes some guidelines for people on how to endure a recession and come out on the other side with a glimmer of hope.
