In this third and final hour, Jimmy discusses HB23-1003, This bill creates a “mental health assessment” for grades 6 – 12 by a 3rd party hired by Colorado Department of Health & Environment.  Schools that opt-IN to give the assessment must let parents know within the first two weeks of the start of school.  Parents have the right to OPT-OUT their children – however if your child wants to take the assessment – the school does not have to let the parent know or know the results of the mental health assessment.
