Jerusha Irene Myers is a native born American citizen born in Oklahoma. Both of my parents were of Jewish heritage (not religious) and also my mother was also Cherokee (I am a registered tribal member). I was married for  21 years and had 8 children (one adopted) and now a grandparent.  My marriage ended when my husband confessed to molesting our oldest daughter from the time she was 1.5 years until age 10. He served 15 years in prison for the abuse.  Needless to say I divorced him. In 2006, I earned my B.A. in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement from the University of Central Oklahoma. I speak on domestic violence and sexual abuse; teaching ministries about prevention and how to deal with it when it happens. It is a worldwide problem.
