Background on Justin....
"After 35 years in the travel industry, having the good fortune to travel to many places and experience things I would have never imagined, a personal fork-in-the-road led me to believe there was a more productive way to approach travel, even luxury travel. It seemed to me that we were only looking at one side of the experience—our own. This thought and my personal journey at the time were what lead to the concept and creation of The Evolved Traveler. So what is this aspect of travel that we are missing? It is likely nothing more than having a broader perspective. What if, during our journeys, we began to see the people we met as members of the global community, just as we are, and to have a genuine interest in their lives and culture? To have, and practice, respect for our environment as well as the towns and communities we visit and minimize the footprints, both figurative and literal, we leave behind? The concept is simple—to travel with a purpose, to travel and experience with the intent of being a citizen of the world, not just a consumer of it."
