Yes a Japanese Nintendo Famicom Will Work on a US TV
July 17, 2013 23:47After a little bit of homework and a quick order from Amazon, I have been able to get my Japanese Nintendo Famicom to work on an HD TV in the United States!! All I needed to do was purchase an RF adapter that came with the US Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). I think it cost like $12 shipped to my door. After reading about how to connect up the system most of the articles mentioned that the power from US sockets might be too much (some say it IS too much), and that you would need som...

McDonalds in Japan: Put Your Ice Here Please
June 30, 2013 15:57When in Rome do like the Romans.......When in Japan, at McDonalds, do like the Japanese do. This extra part of the trash can is for you to dump your remaining drink and ice, and then recycle your cup. I am not sure why they do the cups, but the extra drink and ice makes sense. Nothing worse than leaky garbage bags. The cups are made of paper so I wouldn't see a problem with them being in the trash, but hey that's just me.
Puffy AMIYUMI - Then and Now 2013
June 30, 2013 00:50Puffy AmiYumi 2013 Puffy (AmiYumi) 1996-ish Recently I have been on a JPop kick, kind of remember my first few years studying Japanese in Hawaii, and also the first few years I lived in Japan. One of the groups that stood out for me was Puffy AmiYumi. I put the full name but in Japan they are just known as PUFFY (Sorry PDiddy LOL). The coolest thing about them was that they were kind of a relief from the normal overly produced JPop music machine. Also, I was able to actually find their...
