If you’re anything like me, COVID-19 has really put a wrench into the amount you've been flexing those acting muscles. 2020 has been an unprecedented year and all of our wellness, and mental health has been on a rollercoaster of ups and downs. Some days or weeks you feel super motivated to continue working on your acting career and other days and weeks you wanted to just sleep and wake up when COVID was over. So naturally all of our games have been a little off from our pre-COVID day-to-day hustle. BUT! Word on the street is that the tide is slowly turning and we are inching closer to getting back into the groove of auditions and production. And that means that it is vital that we get ourselves ready to go! I'm sharing 5 things I've been doing to transition from quarantine life to auditioning again.

About the show:

It's a Slate of Mind with Alison Haselden is a video-podcast designed to spark honest, unfiltered conversations within the entertainment industry community about things we're all thinking but don't talk about enough. It can feel isolating in this digital age (anyone else trapped in a self-tape bubble?), but we don't have to go it alone. Alison invites you to join her circle of friends new and old as we tackle the industry together. Alison Haselden grew up as a child actor and singer (her first time on set was age 6!) performing in commercials, print ads, film, TV, professional theatre, and recorded music between Orlando, FL, Nashville, TN, and Los Angeles, CA. She's now Atlanta, GA based pursuing film and TV as well as screenwriting.
