Episode 2: Maverick Jazz Cops (June 15th 2017)

'90 minutes of your life you’ll never get back! '

This episode:  As Jeremy considers a life on the run, hiding in the shadows (not the band), Vince ponders the lack of men named Colin in Rock and Roll.  Up for discussion by both is the staggering implausibility of hit BBC legal drama Judge John Deed; how U2 might possibly have been inspired by The Wombles; and the feeble arguments advanced by songwriters Rogers and Hart in their lyrics for The Lady is a Tramp - a song which on close inspection seems to entirely exonerate the character of the supposed loose woman.

The artists/bands rated and discussed are The Zombies, Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship/Starship, New Order, Steely Dan, and Suzanne Vega.
