Exodus 30-31
God wanted an Altar built for burning incense. It required wood,gold,horns and bronze in it. Aaron was to burned incense every morning and evening. This is Holy to God.

Lesson: God desires for us to be Holy and righteous.

The Israelites had to pay an Atonement tax to God for their life so that nothing will happen to them. All the Israelites had to be counted.

Lesson: God is no respecter of persons. We are all equal in the sight of God.

God spoke to Moses make a bronze washbasin and place it in between the Tent of The Meeting and The Altar. Put water in it so that Aaron and his sons can wash there hands and feet in it before entering the Altar. This needed to be done so they will not die.

Lesson: God is of order. Nothing dirty can enter the Altar. You have to be clean.

God instructs Moses to mix some spice’s together to create a Holy anointing oil. Use it to anoint The Tent of Meeting,The Chest of The Testimony, the table and all the utensils. So that anyone who so much as touches them will become Holy. Aaron and his were Consecrated as priest.

Lesson: We need to follow Gods instructions/ be obedient to live a Holy life.

God spoke with Moses to take fragrant spices and make aromatic incense (perfume).

Lesson: God wants us to be obedient. Moses did everything that God instructed him to do.

God had 2 men that were skilled craftsmen. They were filled with the Spirit of God. 1 was skilled to create designs,work in gold,silver,bronze and to cut. The other man was skilled to make all the things that God commanded.

Lesson: We are blessed with gifts and He wants us to use them for His Glory.

There are 6 days for work but on t 7 day is Sabbath (rest).

Lesson: We need to rest in God. Giving God his time and meditating on His word.

Everything about these 2 chapters just says to me BE OBEDIENT God has a plan.
